Christmas is getting closer and closer so we thought we would create a children’s gift guide selection from the french blossom website. We hope that this gift guide might provide some inspiration and ideas.
We took this chic look from the French Blossom website as it is one of our favourite looks. The dress and coat from Mikielou work beautifully together and epitomize the chic and style often associated with childrens french clothing. These pieces are from the first collection by the French designer Mikielou and are part of a limited edition range found at French Blossom. Mikielou creates exclusively lines for girls fashion.

I spent most of yesterday glued to my computer and drinking a fair amount of coffee and tea . I was adding lots more nice products to our French Blossom website and in between this I was dashing off down to the post office to send Christmas orders. – I am sorry for no post on the blog yesterday.
We have just been adding some new children’s wall stickers to the website and they look really great. We are starting to stock a pretty good selection of kids stickers to choose from now and we hope to keep growing our offering all the time.
Some of our new children’s wall stickers from Mimi Lou are really fun! -The glow in the dark ones are proving very popular.
In the day, the glow in the dark stickers form a delicate outline pattern on the wall but then in the night or when the lights are turned off, everything comes to life…………

Wall stickers look wonderful on any wall and can to bring life and movement to a room really easily. The perfect feature about these wall stickers is that they don’t just have to be positioned on a wall, they can be stuck on windows or any furniture as long as the surface is very smooth. They are also really easy to peel off and position somewhere else.

We were recently in a little tea house in the west of France and picked up a small flyer highlighting Astrid Cornet’s work as an illustrator. Her work is really beautiful and she designs personalized illustrations for all kinds of special events, from births and marriages to birthday parties and baptisms. The wonderful and unique illustrations are perfect for so many different occassions!
Many birthday invitations and marriage invitations are uninspiring and lacking in originality today. They are often just a bit boring. Astrid’s work on the other hand is a breath of fresh air. Her handmade and personalized invitations look super and the colours she uses and attention to detailing is amazing!
I really love these handmade and personalized invitations. Next time you have a party or special event why get in touch with Astrid Cornet and see what wonderful ideas she might have for your special day!

Great news for French Blossom today! We were lucky enough to be selected by the Guardian newspaper for their Christmas Gift Guide!
This Christmas gift guide is something the guardian newspaper in the UK runs each year around the festive period to inspire shoppers. Inclusion in this gift
guide is wonderful for us at french blossom as its only a little over a month since we launched our website. Not only did the guardian editorial team find our site but also chose to select one of our children’s suitcases as part of their gift guide – a guide that you cannot ask to be in but are just chosen to be in, I just found out.
Have a look at the bakker made with love suitcase in all its glory right here at the guardian gift guide

We just love the photography from Mamazelle photography. We discovered their website not so long ago. ‘Mamazelle Photographie’ are located in Montpellier, in the South of France.
I’m sure you would agree, their photos are just beautiful! They have to be one of my favourite pregnancy and children photographers in France.

What amazing weather we are getting in France for November. I say this very quietly as it surely cant last! Well, while the sun is out we are not staying indoors. Have a lovely Sunday and hope its sunny where you are.
Its Remembrance Sunday today. The day in the UK people remember the end of the First World War and the contribution of servicemen and women in all conflicts around the world.
