We opened this lovely little chocolate Easter egg earlier today, handmade in France. The internet is great for so much today but when it comes to taste, a picture doesnt begin to tell the story of how delicious this chocolate egg was ! We cracked it open to reveal little solid chocolates in the shape of fish, rabbits, an egg and shells. Yummy !
Happy Easter everyone ! Joyeuses Pâques – (In French)
I absolutely love this latest room makeover from Emily Henderson. In fact it’s a joint effort from Bri Emery and Emily Henderson. The top photo is before work began and the rest are the wonderful results. Many of the pieces are second hand and from flea markets. The bright touches of colour add drama and warmth to the room. The design cleverly marries both a modern feel with retro and vintage elements.
The aqua green linen sofa is wonderful !
Emily Henderson beautifully describes their work and intensions for this room in her blog – Emily Henderson

Photographer Gabriele Galimberti is from Arezzo in Italy. His work has been published in magazines and newspapers around the world. Not so long ago he completed an 18 month trip around the world where he engaged in a series of photographic projects. One of these projects was entitled ‘Toy Stories’ and showed children from all over the world with their favourite toy or toys. Gabriele expalins how he learnt so much about what toys mean to children and how the toys really reflect the world into which each child is born. I didnt realize but It’s the first day of Spring today in the Northern Hemisphere. The daffofils, and blossoms are in full bloom here in France and it was a glorious Spring day. – The sun was shining and it was a warm(ish) day. Finally the cold months are behind us, fingers crossed !
I found this lovely photo of Springtime in Paris ! The cherry blossoms are so delicate.

Earlier today I wrote a blog post on the new childrens jeans in at French Blossom, only to find out that VOGUE Paris selected the red jeans for an article entitled Little Far West. These stylish trousers are certainly making an impact ! We have lots of other fun, stylish and chic trousers all from French designers in the French Blossom Boutique – Childrens trousers
We just received the new jeans from French childrens designer – Le Marchand Etoiles! These lovely jeans come in two colours, pale aqua green and a rich red. Immediately what caught my eye on these jeans were the small metal star studs on the corner of each pocket. This original finishing detail adds a lovely touch.
The childrens jeans have two front pockets and two back pockets. The back pockets have the star detailing on each corner.
You can find these childrens jeans now online at the boutique – boys trousers .

Have a look at these super cushions in greater detail and other products from my Name is Simone right here – My name is Simone
I love this bright and fun room design ! Obviously the stand out feature in this space is the ‘ferris wheel’ storage idea. I have never seen anything like this before in a children’s room design. – I absolutely love the concept ! How many parents find it hard to get their children to tidy away all their toys after they have finished playing ? Most I would think!
With this storage idea, the process of tidying up has been turned into a more enjoyable experience, – loading up each bucket with toys, games, puzzles and so on, then turning the wheel to fill up the next bucket.
If you have discovered any fun or original childrens room designs and would like to share them with us, contact us above or leave a comment below. If we pick your chosen design to feature in our blog, you will win a prize from the French Blossom boutique ! !
