We have just received the new collection of handmade mobiles from designer Rose Minusule. Handmade in her small workshop just outside Paris, each childrens mobile is unique and can take up to 6 hours to make. These mobiles make a truly original gift idea for babies or young children and they are a really wonderful piece of room decoration. For this new collection the detailing is refined, the colours are soft pastels and each piece is so delicate and poetic.
Above is the childrens mobile called ‘ A day like no other’. The little wolf in the mobile has her party hat on, her best dress, covered in a pretty flower pattern and she is carrying brightly coloured balloons. Its her birthday. This is a really beautiful childrens room mobile !

In Northern France the tradition today is to eat what is called a ‘Galette de Rois’. This sweet treat is a crusty pastry filled with frangipane flavoured with almonds. Tradition has the youngest person at the table cut the cake and then serve it to the others.
One lucky person will find a little gift in their slice! This little item is usually a small figure or object made from porcelain. The person to find this figurine in their slice of galette is then pronounced the King and wears the paper crown !
We created this little moodboard inspired by items from the Troizenfants Autumn/Winter clothing collection. As well as some really adorable baby dungarees and girls dresses, we love the super little winter hats, scarves and bags.
Founded in 2004 by Valérie et Virginie, this French brand for babies and children is based in Paris. With simple yet elegant designs each piece is stylish yet practical !
